IThe cover-up

Every tattoo deserves a second story.

Cover-ups are Gabriel’s speciality. Every project starts with a close look at the old tattoo; the design is built on what is already on the skin.

Simulator images are AI-generated simulations and do not guarantee the result. Feasibility depends on pigmentation, size, placement and your skin; it is decided by the tattoo artist.

VThe artist

Gabriel Fernandes

Tattoo artist and founder of GF Tattoo Studio in Uccle, Gabriel Fernandes made cover-ups his speciality: turning the tattoos you want to forget into pieces you want to show.

His ground is realism, in colour and in black and grey, from forearms to full legs. Before every cover-up he studies what is already on the skin; the design is built to absorb it, not to drown it under a dark patch.

A Brazilian based in Brussels, he works with clients in French, Portuguese and English.
